What we can machine, in numbers.

Figures come from our own shop floor. Anything still being confirmed is marked.

A vertical machining centre cutting a steel component under coolant.
A CNC lathe chuck holding a turned steel shaft. An end mill cutting a slotted aluminium block. A rotary axis and tailstock on a CNC turning centre. A cylindrical grinding machine finishing a steel shaft.

Processes

Four processes,
one route sheet.

01 CNC turning centres

Chuck and bar work in stainless, alloy steel, brass and aluminium — prototype through repeat production on the same programme and fixture.

02 Vertical machining centres

Housings, manifolds and plates, programmed and simulated in 3D before first cut.

03 4th-axis rotary machining

Three setups done in one. Fewer setups, fewer chances to lose a datum.

Before you send

What we need to quote.

Five things. With all of them in the first email, the price comes back without a round of questions.

  • A 2D drawing with tolerances, datums and GD&T marked up — PDF, DWG or DXF.
  • A 3D model in STEP or IGES, if you have one.
  • Material and grade — and say if you are flexible, as a near-equivalent is often quicker to source.
  • Quantity and schedule, plus any finish, plating or coating specification.
  • Inspection documents you need in the box, and any packing or labelling requirement.

Got a part that needs making?

Send the drawing and we will come back with a price and a lead time.
